 Strategy & Program Development 

FOCUS: Every company has a unique and critical social impact focus which we call your North Star. Together we’ll identify a North Star social impact focus that leverages your company’s unique assets [product, people, profit, influence, and voice] to enable profound impact in the community.

STRATEGY: Once we’ve identified your social impact focus we’ll design a three year strategy to achieve impact. Your strategy will include a mission, vision, and values statement, a three year vision, initiatives and impact metrics to achieve the vision.


PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:
Once your social impact strategy is in place we will design the programs (grantmaking, employee engagement, product sales/donations), design the org chart, and engage cross team (DEIJ, HR, Marketing) collaboration to ensure adequate resourcing to achieve real results. 

I am expert at both strategy and execution. I understand every aspect of how to execute effective programs that achieve the vision. I’m especially effective with younger teams where I help flatten the learning curve, accelerate implementation, and develop systems that enable teams to take over my work.

Equitable Grantmaking

I support companies to employ equitable, community centered, and streamlined grantmaking.  I can lead end to end grantmaking including everything from Involving proximal community members and employees, designing grantmaking criteria and scoring rubrics, to managing the timeline, cross team collaboration and internal and external comms.

For companies who want to engage their employees in grantmaking, I use a tech driven approach that enables hundreds of employees to participate with ease and I offer employee grantmaking training.


 
 
 

Performance Management

Your team is growing and you want clear goals and objectives that everyone uses weekly, quarterly, and annually. In order for you to build a world-class team I’ll help you and your team develop a set of transparent and measurable performance goals. These will keep your team simultaneously inspired by the vision and clear on what actions to take daily, weekly, and quarterly in order to “win”. We will build these new or use your company’s model (OKR, KPI, OMG, etc.).

Deliverables often include:

  1. Quarterly and annual OKR plan and process

  2. Team & leadership training on how to develop and use OKRs

About me

I’ve founded and led a global nonprofit, built corporate social responsibility programs for high growth tech, led P&L, strategy, team, brand, marketing and social media presence.

I grew my first venture, Girls For A Change, from my kitchen table to serve 20,000 girls globally and raised many millions in growth capital from companies like yours. I have a TEDx watched by over 1 million, was a diplomatic speaker for the US State Department, was named by The Silicon Valley Business Journal as a “40 Under 40” social innovator, and named by NPR as a Community Hero.

When I’m not working with brilliant leaders, I’m surfing in socal with my husband and son or running to the best beat I can get my hands on.
